Microsoft office 2008 office database utility free
After migrating to a new Mac I get prompted to rebuild my database. How do I fix this? I have Office for Mac and I understand that it is no longer supported. I have never used Outlook or Entourage and cannot find the database reference nor can I execute the steps that are recommended.
Please help me remove this annoyance. Other than this problem, Office worked fine on my previous iMac even after upgrading to Mavericks. This is the message I receive: There is a problem with the Office database.

I’ve been using Macs for well over 20 years. In reply to DonnaShore’s post on February 1, Spotlight can be configured not to index any Application, so none appear in the list of results. But then that would not be your case.

I think I may just learn to live with it or find out which box in my closet contains the aged software.
To «Show package contents» right-click on a file it has to be executable, i. Everyone tells me to ‘right click’ which ostensibly means holding the ‘control key’ down because I have no right or left side to my mouse and it gives me something called ‘show options’ which brings up a desktop option to enlarge the font size, etc. No contents are available. Like I said, I will live with the defect and I expect no one has a solution to the problem and I am doomed.
